Welcome to the Simple Fund 360 Advanced Training. This training manual will help load a new superannuation fund, process current year transactions and prepare year-end financial statements.  BGL assume you have some general knowledge of accounting for superannuation funds.

 

This manual is divided into 8 lessons:

 

Lesson 1 - Setup


This section will guide you through the process of setting up the Advanced Training Fund in Simple Fund 360. This section will show you how to Setup the connected services, register for SuperStream and how to add fund members. 

Lesson 2 - Lump Sum Rollin


By the end of this task, you would have learnt how to record a Lump Sum Rollin in Simple Fund 360.

Lesson 3 - Pensions


By the end of this task, you will learn what steps are required to commence a pension and how to switch a member from accumulation to pension phase.

Lesson 4 - Property Acquisition


By the end of this lesson, you will be able to set up an investment property in the Chart of Accounts and how to manually record a property purchase.

Lesson 5 - SMSF Processing


This section will show you how to process transactions in the current year using uploads, the Share Data Pack and Smart Matching.

Lesson 6 - Corporate Actions


By the end of this lesson, you will be able to process corporate actions in Simple Fund 360.

Lesson 7 - Pension Reset


By the end of this lesson, you will be able to process a commutation and commence a new pension.

Lesson 8 - Compliance


By the end of this lesson, you will be able to process end of year tasks to finalise your fund.
